High denier nylon means that this dog bed will resist tearing, chewing, clawing, and abrasions better than materials used by others. Dog beds are filled with high loft polyester fiberfill sewn inside a lightweight fabric liner, similar to a pillow. Great as an orthopedic dog bed. Each dog bed has 4 inch sidewalls to create loft around the entire bed. Other dog beds have the top and bottom sewn together around the edge, which reduces the support at the perimeter of the dog bed. Unique dual-zipper access to filling. Protected zipper system prevents 'accidental' access to the filling. Rounded corners reduce the chance of getting a good bite on the corners.
